Hello Folks,
I was wondering if anyone knows whether VMWare can do 3D hardware accelleration for a Windows XP guest running on a Windows 8.1 host.
I did it successfully on a Windows 10 Home host system, for an old flight simulator that won´t run on anything higher that Windows XP, and the
graphic rendering quality was excellent, with very satisfactory frame rates.
However, I don´t want to use Win10 any longer, and switched over to Windows 8.1, but somehow 3D hardware accelleration isn´t working, although
I´ve done everything the same way.
Thanks very much in advance for any helpful suggestion!
Best wishes,
Van Allen
