Virus/boot loop/SRT/srttrail.txt

Hi all. Wondering if someone could kindly give me some advice. I will try to give as much info as I can but I can’t boot up to give specs and I’m not technically minded so forgive me if I’m all over the place.
I have a ASUS netbook with win 8 already installed. Couple of days ago I got a virus which gave me access denied on almost everything. Only thing I had minimal use of was Regedit and cmd. Every time I removed it from permissions it reappeared so in a rush to try anything that would stop it I accidentally clicked clean on a partition as I stupidly thought it would give me a choice. So now it won’t boot. I don’t know if this was the virus but I was also getting no automatic repair or refresh/reset pc and it was in a loop. My question is have I lost the system completely?
