I sometimes wonder about techs using tools such as Seatools, HDD regenerator etc to diagnose/repair hard drives. Do any of these tools beat Chkdsk in any way? (besides data recovery tools, I guess those have no match in Windows). Thank you

I'm learning about the new chkdsk suffixes in Chkdsk such as /offlinescanandfix and spotfix. Which of these new options checks all sectors for bad sectors, such as chkdsk /r did?

Thanks Adamf, but I tried it and it doesn't work. I've also rebuiilt the index and made sure Google drive folder was included in the indexing ("C:\Users\ANTONIO\Google Drive") and it doesn't work either.

I tried deleting my file history and redoing it again and the added library was backed up OK. However, when I add another libraray the same happens.

When I open Windows Explorer (Windows 8.1) the search box on upper-right corner doesn't work in the Google drive folder. It works on all other folders. That is: when I enter the name of a file inside this folder, the search returns "0 items".

I'm trying to search for all emails sent by Amazon using the Mail app. Unlike Windows 8, Windows 8.1 doesn't offer a search for a specific application, just an "everywhere" search, but I don't see the "amazon" emails anywhere in the results screen.

Ctrl+mouse Wheel doesn't work for apps to change case size. How can I change letter size? There's a setting in Control Panel > display to change size of other stuff, but not case size for text in apps like Mail App. Thanks.
